Who is your dream dais

If you could create any dais who would be on it and why.

My Dais

Lisa Lampanelli: She should only open from now on because she automatically sets the tone, her jokes are always amazing and she attacks everyone so she get's the ball rolling perfectly.

Whitney Cummings: She's only been in the last few roasts but she seems to be able to produce the biggest laughs of the night

Jeffery Ross: Because we can't have a roast without him and it's best not to try

Gilbert Gottfried: He doesn't roast like anyone else, everyone else has jokes prepared that could (Quite frankly) be done by anyone. Jeffery and Lisa could swap their jokes and no one could tell the difference. Gilbert on the other hand doesn't tell jokes, he just is Gilbert. His roasting style is so unique thatit's hard to imagine anyone else doing as stunningly as him.

Pamela Anderson: Yes she has only been roasted and did the Hasselhoff roast and YES all her jokes were written for her, but there is something about her pure innocent delivery that goes along with each of the jokes so well. Not only that but she is a great target for jokes herself and would be really fun to see attacking someone else.

Patton Oswalt: He is an incredible comic and much like Gilbert his style of joke is incredibly unique to him. He had a certain nerdish sensibility that just would gel so well if they roasted another sci-fi icon.

Betty White: Because she is known for her pure innocent looks, while having a sharp tongue and being able to be incredibly offensive and still adorable. Plus her timing is amazing, she knows exactly when to deliver the punchline and again is a great target who can take the joke.

Kathy Griffin: She was a really good roast master and her career has been based around ripping celebrities apart so why not use that in a roast scenario.

Lewis Black: He may never have roasted for COmedy Central before, but it's obvious that he could with ease. His hilarious anger and his amazing quick wit would suit the roasts perfectly.

I'm going to stick with living comics, just so I don't wind up with a list of 100...

Patton Oswalt - Very relaxed, and his insults come from out of left field. Least predictable roaster I've seen. Tends to focus on the roastee more than the Dais.

Jeffrey Ross - The Roastmaster General. It's not a roast without him.

Lisa Lampanelli - Every time I think her shtick is getting old, she kicks into high gear and leaves in crying with laughter.

Betty White - Maybe the only woman who can work "blue" but be perfectly clean. The funniest woman of her generation.

Stephen Colbert - Watching him at the White House Correspondence dinner damn near made me choke. If he can bring that kind of clever satirical bite to roasting, I'd die a happy man.

Whitney Cummings - Hilarious roaster, pretty face, and a mean streak that would make Don Rickles proud.

Gilbert Gottfried - The one guy who can be counted on to push the envelope every time. With Gilbert around, settling into a routine just isn't an option.

Ricky Gervais - The man was MADE for this kind of format. Ricky could quite possibly take the "Roastmaster" title from Jeffrey Ross. I might even want to see him as a permanent Roastmaster (not that Seth MacFarland has been doing a bad job at all)

"Jeffery Ross: Because we can't have a roast without him"

Yes we can, easily. And it would be better for it.

Lisa Lampanelli- Of course, can't have a roast without her.

Louis C.K.- Hasn't done a roast and probably too big and too busy to get, but I would love to see what he would come up with.

Gilbert Gottfried- LOVED him at the Bob Saget and Joan Rivers Roasts, I mean to the point of tears.

Kathy Griffin- I actually don't like her much but can't deny she would make a good roast master.

Cloris Leachman- Blows away Betty White and Bea Arthur with the dirty old lady lines. Those lines may be written for them by someone else but Cloris Leachman rocked them.

Sarah Silverman-Love her. Need her to do more roasts.

Greg Giraldo- Was always great. Sad that he's gone. This is a "dream" dais so we can include him.

I think Penn Gillette might have quite a bit to bring to a roast.
