I know sometimes roasters will make fun of other people outside of the roast but usually people who are associated with the roasters. I am no fan of Sarah Palin but the jokes where a bit over the line especially the one talking about her disabled child. I wish I had been in that audience because I Would have been throw out booing that tasteless crap.

This just goes to show that people in Hollywood live in their own little world and have no idea what an average working family finds funny.

Ah yes. I forgot that we live in 1950's America where jokes like that were looked down upon.

I am pretty sure special making fun of special needs children is looked down upon even today. Even more so because of all the over sensitive PC People

Not really. With gallows humor being way more accepted than it used to. The only thing that has really happened is that people are allowed to either enjoy it or complain about it. Back then you didn't get the choice. Because doing that was too taboo until people found out that there is some humor to be derived from that if done right.

I and most people I have talked too disagree, I guess we're people with taste. Maybe its more acceptable in uneducated lower class society?

He doesn't offer as much material as the previous Presidents have in the past. Only if you get a mad hard on about the guy. There's absolutely nothing damning for them to work on except for his indecisiveness. And that's about it.

everything is up for grabs when it comes to comedy.actually it would be unfair, not to say prejudice to spare anybody or anything. simple as that. the rest is up to taste.

some people only love seinfeldy nc-13 stuff, while others love stanhope, mooney, chris rock, sean rouse, andi andrist ... etc and then there are people like me that enjoy the whole spectrum.

it is the same in almost every area of media. you can e.g. switch to stern or you can chose to not to. knowing what to expect, but nevertheless tuning in and afterwards complaining about it would seem rather odd.

makeing fun of sarah plain is perfectly ok, but making fun of her children is wrong. even bristole, so she an unwed mother, thers alot of unwed mothers in the world. Some are even famous. Geez mtv glorfies it with teen mom. Movies have been made to show unwed mothers. Natalie portman did one, and countless others i didn't see you laughing then.

Sarah Palin is a piece of trash. The countless ignorant and offensive statements she continues to spew is all the evidence needed. The only reason she maintains a semblance of relevance is because of the "uneducated lower class society" you so astutely referred to.
