Feelin Stupid, but...

Ok IMDB says 19 Jan 2014 yet I haven't seen a single ad for this. I've just seen the trailer thru IMDB's featured HD trailers list. Stupid Netflix won't let me search unless I start a sub, and I can't find it listed on any torrent site. I only see the book or audio cd on Amazon and can't find it at all at Walmart and other stores.

The release list does just mention mostly film festivals, but I don't know if that's usual or not. Has it not been released to general public? What am I doin wrong here?

I live in the Los Angeles area and went to see "Pride" at The Landmark on Sunday, Sept. 28th. They showed a trailer for "Low Down" before the movie. The Landmark shows both independent and block-buster movies. I think seeing the preview for "Low Down" means that the film will be released within a month or two. FYI

"Low Down" starts showing today at The Landmark in Los Angeles - first show at 11:20 am. The IMDb site says showing in Los Angeles area at: 1 theater. FYI

January 19 was the day where the movie premiered at Sundance. But it will only come out next week.
