The absolute most unwatchable part of every episode...

...would have to be the recon segment. Taffer sends in the lowest scum humankind has to offer including D-list celebrities, morning zoo radio DJs, his unemployed street team hipsters, or even his own delusional line cooks and "mixologists".

It's always the same, they order some bingo hall drinks that nobody's ever heard of, then completely ape out when someone actually puts booze in it. Only a total fairy would send back a drink for being too strong. I've never seen that in my life.

Then they order the whole menu and flip the f'ck out when the food isn't up to their standard, and begin faking puking, spitting stuff out, making faces like someone just kicked their dog, belittling the staff, and sending stuff back for nonsense.

It's just so f'cking embarrassing to watch.

I always think the same thing. "There's too much liquor in this drink"...and that's a problem because....? :P

I think the most unwatchable part (for me) is following to recon. Taffer acts like he's never been so furious in his life, barges in, yells at everyone...then marches right back out. I can't stand listening to him go off like that. It is so damn obnoxious.

Some of these owners deserve for Jon to rip into them, because some of them pull some real scumbag sh!t with regards to either their employees or the business itself.

If you are reading this, you have just lost The Game.

You are right, in fact I watched this show from the very first episode and now can't stand it... It is soooo predictable, the owners all act moronic, then he acts moronic, then everything gets smoothed over and then it is 3 days later with a new bar, new drinks, new attitudes....

I've noticed some episodes how after the first visit he leaves in a huff, then returns the next day and the owners and staff all have on the same clothes from the night before... uh huh ....

The worst shows Taffer did was when he was in a live situation reviewing past episodes with all the paid attendees hooting and hollering approval every time that idiot Taffer opened his mouth... That was soooo set up, it was just ridiculous... This show is going the same direction as Restaurant Impossible with Chef Robert Irvine and his fellow idiots tearing around town doing magic... I cannot stand that buffoon either...

I managed bars for 13 years in the city that was voted the most drunk city in America. I have had many drinks returned saying they where 2 strong. Easy to fix add more soda/mix. But was never told I made a bad drink.

My wife sends back drinks all the time for having too much liquor. Well, "all the time" isn't that often since we rarely drink, but when we do, her drink is often made too strong.

considering some (most?) of your posts, you might consider drinking more often for everybody's sake.

very well put.

When I watch Bar Rescue, I will watch the first 15 minutes to see the train wreck of a place and the insane/stupid/arrogant owner, the dirty kitchen, crappy waitstaff etc., with Taffer sitting in his SUV outside, and then watch Taffer go apesh.t on the owner(s). Taffer going ballistic makes the show. Actually the show is boring if there is not real antagonist for Taffer to scream at the whole show.

I will usually watch the "stress test" but usually will FF that after a bit, because it is the same old drama (the inexperienced bartenders getting behind )and then the last five minutes to see what Taffer did with the joint.

I will usually skip the whole new drink menu thing, sometimes I will watch that just to gag and make fun of whatever foo foo drink they make, which is usually crap that no real drinker would ever get. Usually the new food items also don't hold my interest either. Again the food and drink stuff is not really what I am interested in, it is Taffer screaming, and hopefully an interesting, yet awful/stupid bar owner. That makes the show.
