Does anyone else think this sounds almost identical to Exam?

In Exam, the characters are literally given a test, with a series of rules they have to follow. If someone breaks a rule, they are dismissed from the competition. But judging from the trailer for The Employer, there are no rules. The candidates are locked in a room and told to fight it out. And "the employer" takes sadistic pleasure in making them do this. With the casting of Malcolm McDowell, it seems like a much more sinister film than Exam.

it is not sinister at all. it is just boring. no sadism involved either. they want a ruthless person. clear rules.

Also similar to the film Inhuman Resources AKA Redd Inc.

It made me think of The Exam too! Also, The Killing Room, but if this WAS to turn out be be inspired by a different film, I'm sure Killing Room wouldn't be it, and it would be The Exam. At this point, It could be very similar, but I would hope it would be more exciting with better characters.
