Acting wooden, motivations suck

Why does the little snarky smoker keep taunting the big dude who can obviously rip his head off? Why was he so keen on killing the rest? Is he that much of a sociopath? How could the rest of these people just stand around and watch this happen and not do anything? Sure, they made a big noise about doing stuff, but in the end they stood there and watched.

Meh. Fake motivations, fake emotional content. Fake movie.
