Who else laughed when Jeff... (spoilers)

Who else laughed when Jeff threw up his Judd Nelson when the machine first activated that blue light (or was it for their kiss)?!? Then when the blue laser fired upward, how he cheered for them! lolol

He was a great character and that was the icing to prove it!

In fact, that whole scene was awesome! (Although I did expect that plank to fall in the water when the boat disappeared... like as if it was hanging there for a minute, then splash! But it just kept on mysteriously hanging there)

One of my favorite moments. I get chills watching the ending of SNG.

Agreed! Just watched this last night and it is, hands down, one of my favorite movies ever! I lost my s*** when he put his fist up like that.

I didn't like it, because he was all excited that time travel really exists, then he looked totally shocked when the whole thing disappears.

It would have made a lot more sense for him to be skeptical first and then raise his fist AFTER they disappeared.

Or to be excited before, but just smiled or laughed in delighted when they disappeared.

The fact that he looked shocked contradicted his belief in time travel a few seconds earlier. Seemed silly to me.

I don't think he really expected it to work, although he totally wanted it to after that scene in the shed just before. I took the fist in the air as an expression of awe at the boat contraption, excitement about the relationship (because he'd just been jilted), and maybe he was even thinking "this article is going to be epic." I think he equally (realistically) expected the laser to fade, leaving Kenneth and Darius standing there awkwardly.
