Feels like I've watched two films that don't mix


The first half is straight-forward mystery.
I liked that part.

But then came the second half which turns the film into a slasher thriller.
This part is pretty rubbish.

And worse, these two parts don't mix well together.
Overall, I thought the film had great potential: it's based on a true case that still remains the biggest mystery in Korea.
However its potential is lost by bad execution.
Yes, I blame the director and screen-writers.

Agreed. Also the main suspect isn't even mentioned in this film and the supposed psycho is too young to have been the murderer 20 years ago. He looks like he's the same age as the oldest boy would've been.
