Environmental damage of Deepwater Horizon oil spill overxaggerated

Just because people had to constantly bring this up.

Oil spills were happening in the oceans for billions of years. The flora and fauna underwater are naturally prepared to deal with it, there's a variety of bacteria that dissolves oil and by 2014 all oil spilled was dissolved with little impact on marine life. Most of the damage during a spill happens on the surface, but the clean up effort helped.

I don't like this film too much, but I think it's great that it focuses on the people on the oil rig, because the media outcry by environmentalist lunatics completely shun off the explotion itself and made everyone involved look evil. The majority of them didn't deserve it.
