Saw it at NYC doc

Really strong documentary, filmmakers do an amazing job of giving viewer intimate access to subjects and their story. Honestly, last documentary I can remember where filmmakers did as good of job of gaining trust of their subjects was steve james' hoop dreams. great soundtrack too.

Just viewed the trailer. Not much of a trailer, but still..Caught my attention.
You've seen this? Do they go into the players or coaches homes, like in Hoop Dreams? Thanks.

i did see it. players and coaches allow full access of the filmmakers. its clear there is a level of trust established.

i haven't seen an actual trailer online for it yet, the clip on imdb is just a scene from the film, hopefully an actual trailer goes up soon

despite what appears to be very limited release this film is now getting some attention because of potential oscar nomination

defintely worth seeing

Excellent. Thanks for the reply.

Two Oscar documentary semi-finalists, filmed within 20 miles of one another..? Has there been some marketing or advertising of Undefeated?
