Only won an Oscar because it's a Weinstein Brothers Film

What a massive disappointment. Coach inspires poor urban kids...we've seen this a million times, and it did nothing to separate it from the rest. I almost feel like this was a ripoff of "Friday Night Lights".

The Weinstein brothers simply bought this Oscar.

Don't bother with this one.

The difference was it's real life. Not some cheesy movie. The action the coach took, will affect these kids lives forever.

Well the good news is literally no one cares what you think.

I agree 100%. The poster is an idiot. The film is a documentary and one of the best I have seen for a long time and I've seen a lot. I was stunned by the rating, completely the opposite to that on Rotten Tomatoes. I found the film very inspirational and at times moving. It was a marvelous story about how Coach turned one of the worst high school football teams in Tennessee into one of the best in just 6 years, and the obvious love and respect the players had for him. Stone cold classic.

You're a complete idiot. Writing a movie where a coach and players overcome poverty, bad homes etc etc is easy BECAUSE IT'S FICTION!! This was about real lives and really having to inspire kids with nothing in their lives.

I have to say I found it difficult to buy much truth in the documentary. All I can say it was a well crafted documentary that told a story.

Its that man again!!
