I don't know why I found this so funny but right after Turbo gets his powers and he goes to his first snail group meeting, they all begin clapping (with their eyes, lol) for something and when Turbo does it, he starts unwittingly belting out a tune through his gaping mouth. The look on his face combined with the song is just hilarious.
Quite a funny movie overall...was surprised.
I seriously lost my sh*t when that happened. It's been a long time since a tiny scene in a kids movie has made me genuinely laugh that hard.
Reminded me of the scene in Bolt when Bolt is begging for food in the caravan park, and it flashes to a scene of Mittens the cat begging, and someone throws a frypan at her and screams 'beat it you stupid cat!'. I had the same instant laugh-out-loud response.
I'm just going to have to break down and buy a copy of that movie. I'd forgotten that scene and it was ****ing awesome! Thanks for the reminder.
