Jongens (Boys) similarity

I don't know if anyone here has seen Jongens or Boys (US) but I couldn't help notice that the first kiss scene in the woods where they watch the deer was almost exactly like the kiss scene in Boys. I wonder if the director/writers of that movie got the idea from this film since this did come out earlier as far as I know. If they did get inspired by this movie I can see why though because this was also a beautiful film and it did seem to have the same kind of vibe and intense chemistry that Boys did but with ladies.
