I'd review this but......

It would be so pointless, as pointless as this sad pathetic dribble. These fools are not "gangsters" in any sort of the term. Hmmm yea & the main character being 43 and incarcerated for 28? It's great as he tells us of his fond memories of getting gang raped repeatedly for weeks and how he grew a fondness to it? WTF! Really WTF! Throw this in the trash, don't even watch it for free on the net because it's 90 minutes you can't get back.

You stream it, I watch it, I spread the word = BUZZ 4 Films That Need It!

You are right and wrong. I wouldn't watch this because it repeats a fair bit of what happened in the first documentary. Adding to the problems is that when they talk about Desmond being stabbed incidentally they show Damian's gravestone which is just confusing; not much is mentioned about Damian's death. Members of the Noonan family randomly appear, for example, Dominic's driver 'John Noonan' he has a brief part but it never mentions who he is and what relation he is to Dominic. It would have been better to see expansion on the family and who's who.

The format of this documentary wasn't as good as the first, the previous had more grit and this seemed to have weird segments that were reenacted for the camera.

Killer_Movie you must have a death wish to say they aren't gangsters. They were clearly as gangster as it gets; it's not all fiddy cent and football factory but shows a great perspective of gangster reality. Look at his prison sentences; his latest being possession of a gun. It's hard to understand your logic; robberies, guns, torture, knives, assaults, prison, murders, political associates, IRA associates, gang associates.

Maybe you don't have my perspective as a white male in & out of US prison systems. You are right on one thing the first movie had more grit, I had much more respect to their organazation & or family. You also mentioned the IRA, I had an uncle that was killed answering his front door by an IRA affiliate. For what still nobody knows.

As far as my having a death wish, you have me dead to rights on that. Once after spending 3 months in the hole, the warden thought he would be funny by putting me in a 30 man max-security block with 29
blacks, well as you may guess that's not my f'ing thing, upon entering my cell with not much more than a bic razer & a crap tooth brush I decided a decision had to be made considering the looks that I had received immediately as I walked to my cell & there was no time for thinking.
I shaved all 4" long hair off my head entirely bald bloody as hell with a s hit razor, took me about 5 hours then proceeded to sharpen my toothbrush to a needlepoint tucked in the waistband as I popped open my cell door & leaned on the tier with twisted sort of look on my face head still bleeding like a bitch. After that I was deemed that crazy white dude & given respect, nobody f'ed with me. These were all murderers, armed robbers & such.

So maybe you can understand my thinking now, you have to live with wolves to understand their logic.
You've got me thinking of the good old bad days, life seems so dull these days I've managed to stay off the radar for a decade or so, not that I wouldn't bite the eyeball out of some punks head for disrespected me in a f'ing instant. RESPECT it's all a matter of respect, that go's for every family in any country .

Another American that thinks crime only exists in America.
Here in the UK we have murders, gun's, gangs, prisons, y'know, all the *beep* that you have over there ???
We even have the Hells Angels.
Now, yes, we are smaller as a country than many of your states, but id be willing to bet that if the UK was a US state, then it would be considered one of the most crime ridden ones.
Ok, so you weren't impressed with this particular gangster, there are many more out there in the UK, and they are every bit as bad ass as anything you've encountered.
I wouldn't normally stoop to this kind of response but its so frustrating when i see Americans who think the UK is all about Tea and Scones.

PS Im not so much aiming this at you as a lot of the post's ive been reading from Americans lately.
Ive got a lot of respect for American crime figures, and i know that many American criminals have connections here in the UK and are respectful of us here too, it's just that some people really do think we all live out some strange Jude Law existence.

As it goes, i didn't rate this film, nor the first one.
Look out for a guy called Paul Ferris, the guy who made these two films made one on Scottish gangster Paul Ferris and he is a serious guy.
Another UK gangster to look out for is Kenny Noye.

Whoa "Maybe you don't have my perspective as a white male in & out of US prison systems"

You took my description of my own life as rule or belief that I have a delusion that the US & badder or better in any part from the UK, I couldn't possibly gauge what level of power or persuasion that a country has in it's under layers because
I have never been there, yea I've seen tons of films made in the UK , but what can we trust from the media whether film or documentary? Here is a great example, the film "Chopper" I know you have to have seen it & if you havn't you def. should get a copy. They filmed what seemed a real documentary and I ate it up like crazy, I actually thought Eric Bana was Chopper, one who I would be proud to share a drink with or have my back, either way. It just shows how to make a film real and to make you respect everything & everyone within. I know that the film was based on an actual true story & the person that it was made for was one real bad ass m.f'er. NOW FOR MY BIG POINT. Evil is in our nature, inside every single human, it doesn't matter what piece of rock you happen to live on , as long as there is $$$ & drugs, criminal organizations will pop eventually, thus violence, thus the liking for violence

Hey your UK criminals due seem to dress quite well, the likes of John Gotti when he ran the New York mob, til he died of lung cancer in some secret underground prison in the mid-west. I figured it out that for roughly every 5 years making money living like a king = at least 5 years locked up living like an animal, cars seized, house seized, the hell with that trade off...

"A Very British Gangster: Part 2 (2011) still sucks though, it doesn't show what it takes to deserve respect and I believe that was the point of the entire movie, right?

Agreed. There are much more dangerous men about in the UK, most of them still active, and therefor not interested in being in a film.
I just would hate for all Americans to think this film depicts criminal life in the UK because it don't.

I've been thinking, I'll give your lot of gangsters & criminals respect but the US has more gangsters & criminals just in the five borough's of New York City as the UK does, really it's true.
