I thought that it was a pretty good B-movie, although they bumped off Lindsay Duncan instead of the bland blonde.

I agree. Good old fashion British train thriller. Better than a lot of the crap out on DVD
shareAgreed. A really good movie. Even though it's on a much smaller scale, it put me in mind of the great 70's era disaster movies I watched as a kid.
shareThe amazing thing is that they did this on a budget of less than $3 million. The special feature of the DVD show how they did it with a minimum of CG. They made it seem that the characters were on a tram train moving through the countryside. And as Scott says, the psychological l reactions of the characters fit the actions, ala Hitchcock, Damned good for a first time director.
