Poster photo

I recently watched "Ocean Heaven" which is the only movie in which I've seen Jet Li. I realize he is relatively young looking for his age, but the photo on the poster does not look like him at all. Who is that on the poster and why does it show Li as the star with someone else's photo on the cover?
