let's use H. Ford while we (they) can

don't get it wrong. he's cool. he was also cool in the last Star Wars episode, though not after the moment he died (I suppose it's not a spoiler because SW board is not here).
well, let's "hope" that Ford is not just for the means of advertising but Deckard actually will invest a value in the story as a character within the film (opposed to a status of indirect product placement. you can't buy Harrison Ford, do you? though we are supposed to think that this actor comes with certain consumable qualities). so my point is something about those old "cool" actors who use to appear in sequels (or not sequels) just for the ... mm, style and fun? like Quentin Tarantino does is some of his films. again, don't get me wrong - I enjoy those parts with him. but that's something entirely different. (another examples? some (lots of uncountable) background roles for recent films with Kurt Russel, Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman etc., no doubts - cool guys).
you know, "back in those" days Blade Runner was not exactly about Harrison Ford (or The Thing was not about Kurt Russel).
we're cool then, ok?

(btw, I didn't aim to prejudice. it's just that the trailer was structured to remind and affirm us that Harrison Ford is cool.)

/just a guy who now and then recalls Blade Runner as one of the best films (either we talk about sci fi, neo noir, dystopias, problems about consciousness, cinematography etc./
