Excited but I hope they do it right

I'm an eager reader of the Hamilton book series and I think Persbrandt is a perfect choice for the role but I am also a little sceptical. In my opinion it will be fine if they don't include the subplot about Hamilton being suspected for murder. It's not that necessary and they won't have time to do it properly unless the movie is going to be like three hours long which is not going to happen but the rest I hope will be at least 80% true to the book because it is actually one of the better ones in the series and there is plenty of cinematic potential.
So what can happen is that they can follow too much of the book to fit in a movie and we get a mess that tries to do more than it can or they change too much needlessely. But we better wait and see.

Saw it yesterday evening. Nice little tidbit. Persbrandt plays the character we all love pretty good (read "stiff"), but has some to prove regarding the psychoticness Peter Stormare displayed marvelously in the previous Hamilton movie. Also, Persbrandt should work (a lot more) more on his english-with-swedish-accent. In the books, Hamilton is often mistaken for an american. Learn from Alexander Skarsgård's characters in True Blood and Generation kill!

More whining; Mouna was portrayed as a good-looking twentysomething-trollop. Totally wrong! Mouna *is* a battle-hardened middle-aged woman with a hideous scar in her face, to show-off and scare antagonists with! 8-)

Otherwise, good movie!

I thought it was great.

In the books ...
Get over it. It's being adapted for the screen. The producers can change things to be creative.
Mouna was portrayed as a good-looking twentysomething-trollop.
Yeah, you really know your women don't you? Certainly no trollop and the particular actress was 36 years old at the time of filming. And a scar was not necessary for her character.
... good movie!
Swedes should be proud of this. It's a cool film.🐭

Well, some of us never learn to not watch the movie after having read the book/s. 8-)

Yes, it is a cool film but oh so slow.
One commentary on this movie said Hamilton was being compared to James Bond.
NO WAY. Some scenes here move at glacial speed, a European movie characteristic I guess, but certainly not suited to espionage thrillers.
