This should have been the central drama of season 6 and would have been fascinating to see. Claire clearly intended to screw Frank over and deny him his pardon. It would have been fun to see how he went about sabotaging her presidency.
shareI kind of feel like it had a big part in Season 6, albeit it’s hard to do properly without being able to use Spacey in any sense. They couldn’t even use his voice in Season 6. To tell you the truth I liked the show best when they were both on the same side. They were both so ruthless and perfectly suited to each other.
shareI enjoyed the show immensely, but I think their descent into all out professional antagonism would've been a good direction to take in the final seasons.
