Thats actually a good thing

reply

No, actually it's not. It should just end. With Spacey, the quality of this show already plummeted once the story turned into the Frank AND Clare show. And now without even Frank, it's disposable.

reply

Agreed. The show was always first and foremost told from the POV of Frank. He was the first person to break the 4th wall. Its like continuing the story of Richard III without Richard. Even with Claire breaking the 4th wall by season 4 it was never just about her. I always said the show should have followed the formula of the original miniseries more faithfully. This past season should have had Frank getting assassinated and Claire taking over. The end. But they stretched it out for no reason other than profit. I say cancel it.

reply

I like your Richard the 3rd analogy. Yes, Frank was THE focal point of this story, and to carry on without him reeks solely of Netflix milking a dried-up cashcow for every last drop of milk they can get out of it. If the show had adhered to the structure of the original British mini-series and ran for just three seasons, it would have been a perfect show with a perfect (or at least fitting) conclusion. But hey, this ain't Britain, it's Merica! Why let quality get in the way of making a profit?

reply

Yeah, its disappointing because I really loved the first 2 seasons.

reply

What the hell. Why not just end it? Spacey carried the show, his monologues are legendary.
