Tim and Eric has its own cult following so why...

Everything they've done is extremely esoteric, its obvious some people get it, and some people don't. Why are people so surprised that cult comedy could even muster to produce such a film? I guess people can't help but let us all know whether or not they enjoy TnE material, even though as a demographic, we don't care.
