I had no clue what to expect going in

I'd never seen or heard anything about this movie, other than knowing Funny or Die was some comedy web site I'd never actually been to.

Having said that, I love offbeat movies, Idiocracy is in my perennial Top 50 and Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle is also a favorite, and I appreciated the humor in the Onion Movie and the Jay and Silent Bob stuff, most notably Doubt and Mallrats, but did not find those films to be that funny in themselves. This film falls somewhere in the middle of the pack, in my opinion, not as inventive and well done as Idiocracy, but funnier and more audacious than Doubt.

On the other hand, it was a bit disturbing for me the weirdness of the characters' traits -- chalk it up to me being not 17 but 47 -- such as the pretend homoerotic play and the extensive poo humor, but so be it.

I did snicker at least twice, at times that were not meant to be particularly funny, but that were funny to me. This is twice more than I have snickered at MANY more fancy Hollywood comedy flicks with higher budgets, but less actual humor.

That is the point, the humor is infectious and comes from a novel angle, as if David Lynch had contributed to this project, and despite than, some humanity finds its way to the end result, as in the turn of an actor's line.

Would I see this silly film again? uhh, no, probably not. But I did enjoy it and did NOT regret watching it.
