Why write them as American?

This could have been a nice cult Italian flick. Why the decision to play Americans who speak awful English? I know they wanted to sell their movie to a wider audience, but this was not a good decision.

Have you seen the movie? I can't really find that much about it and would like to know more about the plot (perhaps even a synopsis with spoilers) before I take time out to invest in watching this. The trailer looked good enough.

true, but I had some difficulty understanding the actors in this movie, I agree with the OP...for people who hate reading subs the movie could have been dubbed like it was done with Zlo aka Evil

The movie was dreadful anyway.
