If only for this single outrageous scene, I loathe the movie!

After the cops go mega-dumb in their final flight... one gets shot and the other dies on his knees crying.

But that's not it!

Later, the scumbag, POS, urban garbage, crap on the sole of society's shoe, gang turds are handed a "heroic" death to the tune of "The Wild Bunch" or "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" in what amounts to a Viking's death in the form of a near summary execution on the parts of cops who mysteriously only converge on the scene to pull this crap off!

If ONLY for that one scene this movie and its manner of story telling sucks viewer balls... and it ain't just that scene.

What a piece of crap!

Care to try that again in English?

No idea what you're talking about.

Come back once you've learnt how to speak properly.

You're right. I should have written down for the poorly educated.

Thanks for the "bump" though.

What?

"You're not a standup guy today, Pat!"

reply

What do you mean "near summary execution"?
They were gangbangers, armed with military grade weapons who raised them towards the cops. Of course the cops will open fire on them.

Are you mental ?

There's only two things I hate in this world, intolerance to other peoples cultures and the French.

The OP V42 should have put a spoiler alert, since he so succinctly summed up the entire movie in a few sentences.

I took it as a hint that someone high up in the LAPD was connected to the Cartel. The unnamed "Fed" tells Brian as much when he warns him about looking too closely at the trafficking.

It benefits the Cartel that 1) The cops were nowhere to be found until after the duo were executed. and 2) That no one from the gang is left alive to talk, or worse yet, use when they now know against the Cartel.
