What happened? (Spoilers)

First off, it's almost embarrassing to ask someone to make sense of this senseless movie. That being said -

1) Why didn't they just escape in one of the trucks that they had the girl tied
to? They already had the keys in them. Why did they have to go look for the
keys to THEIR truck? That was beyond stupid.

2) When they escaped, didn't they call the police? How were the helpers able to
just set up shop somewhere else? Again, stupid

I'm not even sure I know why I started this thread. It's not like there's a rational answer that's going to tie everything together. The movie is what it is and it's not supposed to make sense.

Ok near as I can tell at about two thirds of the way through the movie, their writer/production crew etc all quit. Or maybe they ran out of tape? I agree there is basically no sense to this POS at all.

Here is my best attempt to string together vague theories into some sort of rational plot:

The gun at the end was loaded with simunition, some sort of fake load. Cause we saw the hole it put in one dudes shirt but i dont remember seeing an actual bullet hole. The alleged cops that showed up were also accomplices and promptly killed the last survivors, so the helpers all escaped that were still alive?

I really can't understand how bad this movie is. I think it might be because the head honcho is allegedly an accused child molester? Maybe everyone bailed on him when that happened or came out or whatever so he hacked together some sort of *beep* ending out of what he had?

I just hope no one paid to see this POS. I would be so pissed.
