I read an articles saying that back in April Fox was eyeing a December 2015 release date for The Titans Curse. Does anyone know if there's any truth to that?
Percy Returns 8.7.13 Halfblood #16 This is a pen, this is a pen!!
Considering how sea of monsters made only 68 million domestically compared to the 90 miilion that lightening thief did I am not sure if titans curse will happen but I hope it does.
Titan's Curse will certainly happen. Give it a few years though and I bet it'll be a lot better (I hope Thor comes back because he thinks about making the series darker and edgier with TC), if it's not, then I don't know...
if it goes straight to dvd its budget wont be anymore than $15 million which means they wont bother making it as it will be crap
sadly thats how movies are made now in days look at Harry Potter films! It did not follow the books and people still saw it droves!
jberning The studio admitted that they felt since they waited so long to make the sequel that it hurt box office sales and that if they get a third film out sooner it might do better.
How will the third do any better? they did a third narnia film and it didnt go to make another fourth film of Narnia
although there market wasnt too good it was a mistake to have had it right after Harry Potter and I think the Half Blood Prince film

Source? Where did u find this?
yeah thats what i keep hearing but where is the source?
You obviosuly mean Deathly Hallows part 1 for narnia and they ARE making a fourth it wasnt because the third did bad, it actually did better than the 2nd in terms of budget to gross ratio, it was because of Walden Media's contracts expiring but now they are making them independently

again where is your source for Narnia?
Its been over three years now! THREE!
Do you understand how hard it is for independent movies to make films? Its proably going to be never
Look it up man, the Mark Gordon company is helming the film and David McGee is writing the script for the fourth Narnia film. The film is going to be The Silver Chair!

***** Spoiler Alert ******
Why is this called "Sea of Monsters". If this film there is really only one Monster. It's the one that eats them. All the other monsters are pretty much on land. The film was ok, but should have been much better. I didn't care much for the way it ended. I wonder if it ended that exact same way in the book.
Read the book. Yes it does but it is very confusing.
No where on the web does it explicitly state that film is no longer happening. These announcements were made in December and its is still in the early stages of development. You have a really piss poor sour atitude dude, stop trying to pour cold water on everyones parade. Word? :)

However I'm sure they would probably want to cut the budget a bit as well if they make one.

Sea of Monsters is the title of the Percy Jackson & the Olympian book that the movie is based on. There are other monsters in the sea. Just the one cyclops that's on the island is the one you're thinking about that's on the island, not in the sea. --Sandi
BTW--I'd really enjoying seeing all of the rest of the book series, even if they're all direct to video.
