What the H. happened to Annabeth?
In the first movie she was a real Badass, and in this one she got relegated to being the meek girlfriend who tags along...
And why did she have to be blonde in this one?

She was supposed to be blonde already because she was blonde in the books. Alexandra Daddario dyed her hair to have it match the book character as best as possible.

You're wrong, actually. Annabeth wasn't blonde in the first film because Annabeth and Clarisse were merged into one character. They separated the two in the second movie. If she wanted to match the character as best as possible, she would have dyed her hair for the first film also.
