Stephanie was right

Stephanie had (has?) a very good concept - healthy tasty food. She was given NO help from any of the judges like they did with Joey, Sould Daddy and the Grillbillies. Only constant criticism. She completely overhauled her concept, Joey can't even think of a new name!

All she needed was a little advice and direction instead of the snide remarks ('is that ketchup from a bottle?'. 'you don't know how lambs are raised?'). She was 100% right about it not being feasible to have local/fresh ingredients in a national chain with the same menu, and that you have to use canned goods when needed. The judges (Curtis) didn't like being caught one bit and punished her.

She had the judges against her. Her chef wasn't helping - he was very passive aggressive. And she (along with Sudhir) was the hardest worker and the most honest. Joey and Soul Daddy are full of bs - when they talk to the judges its just blah blah stories, instead of actually talking about their ideas.

She had an ally in Steve Ells, and Lorena and Bobby weren't trying to sabotage her at all. Curtis was the hardest on her, and good-she wasn't cut out for it. Let's not forget "Harvest Sol" was a totally different concept than "Compleat" She lacked vision and knowledge, and the way she dealt with her "staff" was awful. It exposed her to be incompetent.

The difference between Stephanie and the rest of the contestants (including the ones who left) was that the others could handle the criticism - which was constructive criticsism to all of them. Stephanie could not. They would give her advice via 'constructive criticism' and she would become defensive and take it very personally. She was slow to adapt their suggestions, slow to make the changes, etc. while the others acted quickly.

She was way too defensive.
