I thought it was very good. One of the best horror movies to come out in recent years imo.

I thought it was a great small budget horror pic
Saw this and The Invitation the same week or so...both good horror/indy finds for me

i enjoyed the kills and the hero fighting back.

It's pretty good actually. I didn't really like it when I saw it in 2013, but after revisiting it today I enjoyed it much more.

I'm the same. Didn't like it back when it came out but rewatched it this year and thought it was pretty good.

I had a similar experience with Ready or Not recently. I didn't like it when it came out but ended up loving it after the rewatch. I think it's even better than You're Next.

Oh yeah, was one of my favorites that year. I think it can take a bit for some to get into. I remember probably a year or so after it came out, we were having a similar family get-together. Similar only in that we were all visiting my parents. They live in a wooded area, but in town. Much closer neighbors, not so wealthy or snooty. Anyway I showed it to my family that weekend, at first they thought it was kind of silly but by mid-way they were all terrified.
