Saddest scene
...at least for me, was the two slaves forced to fight. Just beat the *Sh!t* out of each other to the death like dogs.

shareI actually found it pretty disturbing. And I'm anything but impressionable by violence into movies.
D'Artagnan torn to pieces by dogs was quite considerable, too.
I'm Winston Wolf. I solve problems.
...And no dream is ever... just a dream...
It blows my mind how some viewers complained that this movie diminished what slaver was or tried to "make light" of it. Those two scenes are so jarring, I don't know how anyone could come away feeling as if it downplayed owning another human being.
shareIt's my least favorite part of the movie. I'm always confused as to Tarantino's direction of that scene too, I'm not sure if he's trying to make light of it either(Franco Nero's and Waltz's reactions seem played for laughs as one of the fighters loses his eyes...). The whole sequence is a bit disturbing, and I always feel uneasy every time I watch it.
shareMy two saddest scenes are 1) Broomhilda getting tortured, and 2) Dr. Schultz's death.
