To lisp or not to lisp ...

First off I have to say I haven't FINISHED watching this movie yet. I am the part now where Alix has showed up during a storm looking for Abigail (I think that was her name).
But I need to know something. Was she lisping for the whole movie?
Some dialogue the lisp was VERY noticeable. At other times it seemed as tho she was talking with her teeth clenched.
For some strange reason this distracted me and I wondered how she got the part.
But I noticed it more when Leah first showed up, and a few times it sounded as tho Leah was lisping too.
Any how, please don't hate me for writing about something so petty.
It's just that you don't find many "actors" with a lisp.
So my first thought was "how did she get the part?".
OH and another thing that just popped into my head.
During the movie she said her Aunt died 2 years ago.
But then during another part she said she was about 9 years old when her Aunt died.
So I'm VERY confused about that part.
And in the storyline at IMDB it says "a young girl travels to her dead Aunt's cabin".
But the lead female wasn't exactly a "young girl".
