Softcore Skinemax 'Horror' Film

Yes, totally agree... a very "strange film" indeed!

I did enjoy watching it.. but mostly just because the whole approach was so bizarre I couldn't imagine what they were going to present next.

It has a good story, good setting, pretty nicely filmed and some good actors in it.. but overall the execution as a whole just could not pull it all off.

I found the lead actress just did not seem right for the part somehow. The directors choices were odd... the movie went back and forth between creepy incidental music and rock/pop, so it never really stuck with a mood.

While I enjoyed the actress cleaning house to "Rock and Roll Hootchie Coo" scene, it was more like a music video or tv commercial than a scene from a horror movie.

Also, the lesbo demons scene was cool, but seemed like they added it more just to show the actresses without clothes as opposed to an integral part of the plot.

And the whole sequence at the end.. once the killings start, it is just so rushed. Like a big lead up to just a few quick scenes payoff.

If you can catch it for free like i did on Amazon Prime, it is worth a watch as long as you are not expecting a real great horror movie, but just something strange and kinda fun to view.
