Please tell me this is still in the new movie, that Dracula can take bat form. I haven't seen a serious vampire film where the vampire could take bat form in over eleven years. I miss the bat transformation. I used to miss the wolf transformation with vampire stories but now I'd be happy to at least see the bat.
In the story I"m writing Dracula becomes a bat a Wolf and 1 or 2 other animals. Other Vampires become different animals, Carmilla a few kinds of Cats, and Count Karnstein becomes a Raven, a Jack Leland that Dog form the Omen films.

According to the new official synopsis he'll appear in wolf form and after he's killed his ashes will rise in bat form. This sounds promising.
I've added to my Mythology that Vampire can't also control others of the basic Kind of Animal they can turn into. What do you think of that?
That's how it in Stoker's novel, but in films and stuff since it's usually either/or.
This would also give Dracula and others power over Werewolves, which creates Drama in the story since one of my Protagonists is a Werewolf.

In one of the earliest scenes of Dracula in the book he CALLS on wolves to do his bidding. He calls to them from the top of his castle. He summons them. And he can take wolf form.
For the love of God, before you continue with this idiocy of yours and ideas of vampires turning into dinosaurs, read the bloody novel!
