It was just so soulless, tired and bland! The actors and dialogue were awful and the whole movie had this really ugly look to it and barely any style to speak of with horrible CGI in its place. Definitely the director's worst film by a huge margin!
shareOh yes...just dreadful...where 90 minutes seemed like an eternity. The idea of gorgeous Thomas Kretschmann must've SEEMED brilliant (that's why I watched!), but alas even that could not help this film.
I didn't think it was as bad as everyone said, just kind of forgettable. I'm sure I won't remember a thing about it this time next week. But it's good enough as a time waster. If it weren't for the CGI, I think people would like it more. I'm not really sure how many more Dracula films we need. We have about 8000. It is a magnificent story, but does every director need to do their own adaptation?
