Very good movie if...

...you are in classic gothic stories of XIXth century (by Shelly, Polidori, Maturin, etc.).

I am, and in this sense I felt myself very comfortable while watching the film.
Not disappointed a bit. (To me) Argento strikes again.

My grieves though:
-1 Disliked Asia (to say exactly her voice) here.
-0.5 Disliked that (fashionable) color palette distortion.
-1 Van Helsing's part felt a bit rushed to my taste.

So overall 7.5/10

I'm watching now. I haven't really gotten into it (yet), but technically it's world class (cinematography). It should be a much better film.
