The best Dracula girl, the best actress in the film?

Most of Argento's films are maligned for their acting but i think that "Dracula"s casting is overall ok, i liked the performances of Marta Gastini and Rutger Hauer above all.

What do you think of the actresses in the film?

I think that Marta Gastini is a great Mina, she's well chosen for the part and she delivers a fine performance, she's charming, sensitive and finally, not so frail...i liked her showdown with Dracula and i thought that Gastini was one in the best things in the film...the link between the two sisters Mina and Lucy was an interesting bit in the screenplay too, even with Asia Argento's uneven acting.

Miriam Giovanelli...again, she fits well her Tania's part! I don't know if she's really "good" but her character in the film was still a highlight, i liked her link with Renfield and her jealousy because of Mina's love for Dracula.

Asia Argento...i usually like her but here her performance is rather weak , unfortunately...especially her last scene...the seduction scene between her and Dracula was fine, though...nicely shot in overhead point of view.
