3D Makes all the Difference
I first saw this film in the normal 2D format. It was terrible, I thought. The scenes looked fake, the setting stagy, and the color out of balance. Then, I got a 3D copy and everything changed. This film is shot FOR 3D throughout. And if you play it in 2D it simply does not work. You're wasting your time if you do. The art direction, production design, and set design are done MASTERFULLY in 3D. This was a brave effort, because anyone watching it in 2D will miss it all. Fabulous stereography.
