This is for those who pretty much wanted to lynch me when I said it resembled an old Hammer movie. "Argento said he was very inspired by the film "Horror of Dracula" from 1958 starring British actor Christopher Lee."

That their trying to be like Hammer I don't think anyone disputed. Success at that is what is what will be debatable once the film is seen.
shareand 'inspired' could and almost assuredly means alter the perception of what was a very factory formula approach to Gothic Horror. It's set within the victorian renaissance (like Stoker's text) so there's going to be certain unavoidable aesthetic similarities associated with the period.
