Marta Gastini is a great Mina
I saw again the film, on 2D and Blu Ray this time, and i think that Marta Gastini is really one of the best things the film has for it, she delivers a really charming, rather low key performance as Mina, far from Asia Argento's not too good, overacted performance!
The film is mostly shot in wide shots but Argento sure makes a few striking close up shots of Mina/Gastini's face, for example when she sits and talks with Van Helsing/Rutger Hauer.
Gastini's performance along some nice use of vivid cinematography and locations made "Dracula" rather enjoyable to watch, despite the film not being very Argento-esque.
