The Dark Knight Rises

I really hope it does not contradict this series. I know that is unlikely, but it would be nice to walk away from 'The Dark Knight Rises' and know what events have unfolded in Gotham since the Joker's first reign of terror. That was arguably what made 'The Dark Knight' so special (with 'Batman: Gotham Knight', 'Gotham Tonight', and 'The Dark Knight Project' creating a vivid tapestry of the criminal activity that occurred in Gotham between the two Nolan films).

Steve (The guy who wrote, directed, and played the joker in the joker blogs) wrote this...

"Just got back from Warner Brothers Studios this afternoon. Last week was exciting because I got to see a rough cut of the new teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises. (I also got to read several parts of the script and it looks phenomenal.) Stay tuned for more updates! Big stuff happening!"

So seeing as how he's read small parts of the script, and the season 2 trailer has the bane chanting. I'm willing to bet this will tie into The Dark Knight Rises just fine. Why else would they let him read certain sections of the script? So he can incorporate those elements into The Joker Blogs Season 2.

I'd heard of that development recently. It sounds promising. Perhaps this new series will kill off the Joker (I always thought that it was too ridiculous that the Joker would not return to wreck havoc on Gotham, and that the only way they could eliminate the threat he poses was by killing him).

Perhaps a cameo of "The Joker" will be in TDKR, or WB is talking about them being given a tv series or something as this "TJB" web show is very popular and known.

I just hope that WB favour 'The Joker Blogs' for such a continuation series over the vastly inferior 'Mr. J' series, which also seems to have a far share of popularity.

Unfortunately Rises firmly established that the day Dent "Died?" was the last time the Batman was active.

They used the Chant in that Teaser because back then we thought it was "This is Arkham".

Once again, last 'confirmed' sighting of the Batman.

A video posted on Youtube is certainly Confirmed. But thats besides the point, the scenes with Bruce clearly show that he hang up the Cape immediately.
