LLoyd Kaufman from Troma was in town premiering two new movies... Father's Day and Mr. Bricks.
It was obviously a very low budget movie... the production wasn't great...
But it was far from being bad.
It has a gritty, urban feel to it and that becomes part of the overall storyline.
The story wasn't told perfectly... but overall, I think you get the ideas they were trying to convey.
Its definitely worth a watch because of how different it is.
What did you think? Did you like it?
P.S. Mr. Kaufman is just a nice, cool, funny, witty guy. This was the first time I met him face2face and talked to him... It's obvious why he was able to make so many movies over time. He's quite charming.
