My review of Agneepath

From the start to finish ,Agneepath is an intense action thriller with strong performances from the main cast..

Hrithik (Vijay) gives truly an amazing performance..This is one of his best performances..Sanjay (Kancha) plays the main villain and he gives a fearsome vibe..Rishi Kapoor as the second villain isnt far behind..Its one of his first villainous roles ,but Rishi has pulled it off superbly..Priyanka ,unfortunately isnt great ,just average..

Story is superb, and the pace is steady for the full duration of the movie..Every character is fully developed...
The action scenes are brutal & bloody..Nothing is withheld in such scenes...
The songs in the first half was not needed and they were too lengthy and risked dragging the pace down..while in the second half songs were aptly used..The main theme used in most of the action scenes was brilliant..

The main issues with the movie are mostly minor...As previously said the 2 songs used in the first half were lengthy and not actually relevant.Scenes with priyanka were a bit over-dramatic..The final fight was intense but i felt it was too long...The end also didnt fully tie up the main issues raised.. But all this are just minor issues..

Overall,Agneepath is a must watch...But due to excessive violence ,this is not for those with a weak heart..
