I would have liked this movie more if .....

... they hadn't made it as a remake. It was a decent enough one time watch, but what ruined it for me was that they tried to make it as a remake of the original. If they had made it with a different name and different characters, it would have been more enjoyable. Through the film I kept thinking of the first one, which was indeed a cult classic and can never be replaced.

If they make old classics with a modern twist such as a city setting, new characters, RGV's Aag is what the result is. I am glad they kept the old agneepath's setting.

What's with all the praise for the original Agneepath? It was most certainly not a classic.

How is the setting the same? The original had the character wearing suits and being business men/gangsters...not druglords or pimps.

I don't think I could have liked the film anymore. The casting was super, the dialogues were good, the background noise was good, the intensity of the hero and the villain was quite unfathomable, overall a treat to sore lives.

"There. There."

I fear I don't relate to the first film because I watched it when I was really young but I do respect the film makers more because they made such an intriguing film for revenge and for the time and year we live in, revenge films are done and dusted. It is after very long something this "obviously bollywood" was shown in this much of passion and elegance.
