Kate's mom - was her portrayal accurate?

For those of you in the know - was the portrayal of Kate Middleton's mother in this movie true-to-life? Did she shake hands like a commoner with Prince Charles and Camilla when first meeting them? Did she do this after rehearsing the proper greeting and courtsey? Did she go on and on about her party planning business when first meeting Charles and Camilla? When William broke up with Kate, did she visit Kate's apartment the next day and go on and on about her party planning business? Was this meant to be an exaggeration or is she that informal and obsessed with promoting her and her husband's business? When I saw her looking on at Will and Kate's wedding she looked so dignified - royal, if you will. She looked like you'd expect Princess Kate to look in 20-25 years. But this movie portrayed her as being pretty classless. I don;t know if they were trying to go out of their way to show how much of a commoner Kate Middleton is, but it seemed ham-fisted. If Mrs. Middleton (don't recall her name) is really like this, would someone please confirm these facts?
