I was surprised how genuinely funny this movie is, there were many laugh out loud moments. It's scary to think how far they propelled this woman toward the second in command post, and we're all very lucky we can now look back and now laugh. I think a lot of the enjoyment of the film comes from the feeling of relief. Julianne Moore as the comic buffoon and Woody Harrelson as the straight man became kind of a comic duo a la Abbot And Costello or Laurel And Hardy.
