Do Liberals Enjoy Their Media Rule?

Do they love the fact a movie like this is made and nothing negative about democrats? Do they love that, beside one cable station and AM radio, they control all of the media including Hollywood films, TV shows, newspapers, and university professors spouting their opinions to students who just want to learn? Do these liberals even realize their power, and how much they rule... Or do they want it all? Do they want everything so that they don't have to make movies about the small faction that disagrees with them? Do they want America to be a one party rule like their beloved Cuba? Do they get angry whenever they learn that people are allowed to choose to listen to AM radio? Does it make them happier that liberal movies get advertised and win awards whereas AM radio shows are basically only for people to tune in? Does Sean Penn wish America was like Cuba or his late friend Hugo Chavez's country? Does Penn realize that if he lived in a third world country, that he would have never been born with a rich daddy director to thus become famous enough in the first place to be friends with dictators? Does George Clooney count his millions and give 90% to the poor and needy? Will there be a movie about Hillary running against Obama and calling him a stuffed shirt?

Liberals seek to destroy the conservative domination of talk radio by instituting a fairness doctrine that would require all stations to has equal time. That would mean more ratings challenged liberal shows that no one wants to listen to because they have abc NBC CBS CNN msnbc and every tv outlet except fox. They are not happy with all they have at all. They seek to destroy fox news by having non stops attacks against their bias but it doesn't work! Talk radio and fox are the only places where conservatives are respected and are legitimate.

1. The "liberal media" is a myth used as a propaganda tool by conservatives in trouble. CBS was the only channel i could get on broadcast TV in 2012, so i watched it a lot during the campaign and election, and it was clear that, whatever the leanings of the journalists themselves, they had orders to color everything against Obama, in blatant and disgusting ways. Not exactly "liberal media".
2. If i were a conservative, i wouldn't brag about having talk radio on my side. In 2008, i listened to a lot of talk radio and found that once i listened to Limbaugh in the morning, i knew what the rest of the roster would be saying that day (as well as what my conservative acquaintances would be whining about for the next 24 hours), and i used to research what the fat boy said until i found that virtually everything was an outright lie or truth twisted into barely recognizable propaganda, so research was a waste of time.

Candy Crowley interrupted a debate to defend Obama with a lie because of her strident support for Obama. CBS deleted Benghazi questions from it's interview with Obama to protect him! If you watched CBS you saw the most stridently pro Obama press in the media.

reply

Sorry, but Crowley's statement was the truth; Romney was the mistaken party. I haven't looked it up on YouTube lately, but I did at the time, and Obama's statements referred to were readily available and showed Romney to be wrong.
Look it up.
And during the campaign and election, you would have to severely warp your perception to call CBS "pro Obama."

reply

I did look it up- Obama did not call it terrorism. Even on letterman and the view he said it was too early but it wasn't - it was terrorism - he did not call benghazi terrorism the day after. It was not his view otherwise on view and letterman when asked he like have said yes. Crowley was a horrible and disgusting liar. When Obama said terrorism it was not about Benghazi. Obama was a liar and Crowley backed up his lies. I did watch CBS and their strident love for Obama as always evident.

reply

Where you Benghazi cry babies when Bush lost 4,000 American lives plus a lot of innocent lives in Iraq based on a lie.

Voting for John Kerry!! That's where I was!!

"Do Liberals Enjoy Their Media Rule?"
Works for me!

Conservatives have tried repeatedly to capture a piece of the creative media pie (specifically literature, film & tv - this is IMDb after all) but for the most part they have failed. If conservatives had better quality artists and creative thinkers in their ranks they might be able to get into the media game. But by comparison they don't, so the liberals continue to dominate the media arts because statistically artists and creative types (those people who write books, make movies and create art) are typically liberal thinkers. And as a demographic, liberals are generally higher educated, higher earning, and higher IQ. Which works sociologically because where you have the higher thinkers, you also have to have the worker bees. And those worker bees are the masses that conservative media does attract, those worker bees that will watch Fox News and be told what's wrong with their lives, who's to blame for it, and what to think about it.

If conservatives could ever attract a majority of leading edge artists of literature, film, television and the media arts, then maybe they could get a foothold and challenge the Liberal's "media rule". Until then, when you ask "Do Liberals enjoy their media rule?" I say; It works for me!

reply

"liberals are generally higher educated, higher earning, and higher IQ."

Self serving liberal media inflated generalization.

reply

Hey Ibn, look up the statistics, take some time away from listening to Limbaff.

It's so fun to see how paranoid uneducated rednecks can get...

Whatta maroon (referring to the OP).

reply

This what I dont get from conservatives...

When FOXNEWS is the only "free bias" media you see and all other media outlets are "liberal" media. Dont you see that you're the outcast. The right wing with the reps are taking steps farther to the right that they'll no longer be inside the political spectrum.

Only gunnuts, religion-freaks, and tea party people will remain republican party. While moderated conservatives will be forced to branch out to a new party. Because with the way things are going that seems more likely that moderates actually take back the GOP.

reply

The Republican party is having the kind of meltdown Palin was shown as having in this movie. The leaders and propagandists - Limbaugh and his ilk - formed the myth of the "liberal media" and their followers bought into it so heavily it infected the thinking of conservatives in general. Then even the more intellectually aware of their number forgot it was a myth formed for propaganda purposes and let it color all their ideation. Now Republican "thinking" is a mishmash of misconceptions easy to be seen as such by everyone outside their ingrown bunch.

reply

You're upset that a movie about the Republican primary isn't about the Democratic party?

Yeah, that makes sense.

Working in the movie business since -92

reply

Don't act like the movie didn't take the title from a book about democrats and republicans and made the movie all about republicans - negatively!

reply

I thought the film was very fair to McCain and his people. I always liked him even though I voted for Obama. And he came across as sane and decent and a great guy all-around, which I think he is.

Republicans aren't the problem, Palin was. And Ted Cruz.

reply

Wow, you people are all morons, and complete hypocrites. Have a nice day.

Liberals are Brainwashed

Do you know what the first objective of brainwashing and cults is?
...............
Convincing them that Everyone else is lying to them and ONLY YOU are telling them the truth......
Isn't that in actuality what fox news does? ALL OTHER information sources are lying to you, and only we here at fox new will give you the real information. All other stations are in on a vast conspiracy,

To Love and win is the best thing. To Love and lose, the next best.
