Disturbing and chilling ending... (spoiler)

Am I the only one that found the last minute of the film extremely creepy?

SPOILERR!!!!
When the guy was shot and he smiled at the girl throwing the ring to the floor... It was such a simple scene, but the way he look at her and the way she look at her ring crying and suffering while he was dying but smiling and enjoying her suffering... Really effective and unsettling, and creepy.. The movie was slow, the atmosphere was excellent, the acting was marvelous by the girl and the killer.. The climax could have been better, but still a very good horror film, with suspense and atmosphere! Really effective and different movie. The music was amazing, too.
