It's a shame....

It really is a shame when we live in such an immediate gratification society that any film that isn't non-stop action or filled with tons of CGI grue is blasted as boring!! Crawl really is a masterful, atmospheric, and like the director has stated, "thinking man's" Thriller. I know how if you like a film on IMDB that most hate, you are immediately accused of having something to do with the production of the film. Believe me, I haven't, I am just a life-long film fan, that found this one to be very good, in fact, I rated it an 8. If you like good thrillers, or film noir, I urge you to check out Crawl, you'll be glad you did!

I'm not a big fan of CGI blood or non-stop instant gratification type movies either, but that doesn't mean slow meandering scenes that drag on for several minutes with nothing happening. There is a lot to be said about proper pacing.

Now I'm not saying the movie is a total failure, it has some interesting moments, but it limps along for much of its 75 minute running time and would have probably made for a much better and tighter short film.

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.

I was thoroughly bored to be honest and kept looking at the clock-could have had another 20 mins trimmed off.A few tense moments and the Croatian guy is distinctive but there`s nothing else here.

I agree with the last comment by lordinfernus, unless a film is full of non stop action it is labelled `boring` - we need to return to the great and classic days of film making where the director makes use of every gripping moment to create the suspense. Unless you are actually aware of the hard work and determination that goes into independent film making, searching for funds, pre and post production work on a low budget you cannot critique from a fair position. These two talented film makers are going places and I look forward to their next offering.

I think you have every right to judge a film either positively or negatively regardless of the cost of production.

Masterful!? All this is is a shameless rip-off of Blood Simple! I was howling as shots simply didn't makes sense, actors tried their hardest to deliver horrible dialogue and like someone asked in the Q&A - Why didn't he just walk across the field to his house? Laughably bad

I found the film to be OK but I felt it dragged a bit too. Really loved the very last shot.

Crawl isn't a bad film only problem i had with it was it was just to slow, ok the killer was old but surely he could still move a damn site faster then he did, yes its a thinking man's film, but it did drag on at times as for the ending it was fairly obvious what the out come would be as they showed the gun in her draw, it would not take a genius to figurer it out.

The one nice touch was the ring and him smiling when he throw it at her after she shot him, it was like him saying you may have killed me, but i killed your boyfriend girly
