Big Plot Hole ? (Spoiler)

Seen a few people complaining that Travis would have just hopped off home instead of hanging around his truck by the roadside.

I could easily believe he was waiting around for a bit for a tow so he could get his truck home where he appeared moderately well set up to try a bit of repair work. Maybe he could have gone home to phone for help, but that might have cost him something. What's unbelievable about a feller tinkering with his engine then hearing a vehicle approach and thinking "I might get a tow - it's only around the corner and would be cheaper than getting out the pick up truck from the garage in town".

To be honest if you pick enough there are plot holes in most films - film-makers often seem to assume that people sometimes don't act in the most logical way...where could that idea have come from ?

I enjoyed the film, thought it was well made and acted and the application of just a little bit of imagination is enough to gloss over the bits where "I wouldn't have done that". Personally I wouldn't have left the chocolate cake on the doostep, uncovered, but I'm pretty sure some people would.

People don't always act in the most rational way. Sure.

But they don't stand in the middle of the road waving their arms at passing cars when their car breaks down literally in front of their own house. That's absolutely ridiculous.

Literally any sane human being would lock the truck up, go home, and get the trucked moved in daylight instead of waiting around on a country road hoping someone came along who happened to be able to help. Because that's *beep* crazy.

You seem to expect a lot from a film with a $500K budget & a mostly unknown cast.

This movie kept my interest all the way through. The only plot hole that I saw was the synopsis said the Croatian was double crossed but I never saw that unless I missed something. I think Slim, who also got what he deserved, was looking for his gun which the Croatian took. He knew that he would be tied to the murder if he did not get it back. Glad she survived but also wish Travis had. Good movie.
