Coens should sue!

Pardon the lateness, but you just typed what I've thought to myself hundreds of times about the user names with all the random numbers in em and the kind of crap that users with that orientation always seem to post.

This is one of my favorite films and I personally don't give the slightest bit of a shít that it used similar methods as another filmmaker in the history of film. I spend most of my time watching retreads of retreads of retreads of the same types of films, but nobody seems to care about the lot of them. Dare to trample on the sacred copyright that only the Coens seem to have on sh!t and dickheads come out of the woodwork in droves.

Normally if you like the style of something in life you tend to like other stuff that has that sort of style or is similar, music, cars ect, people don't have a problem with it, but in film the opposite is most common.

Judging by the Op's thread title he seems to think this film was exactly like one of theirs which if true and they were true Coen fans that means by definition they should enjoy this as well. That's why I call bullsh!t on the whole post and those like it. I prefer not to watch Blood Simple 100's of times, but to instead watch new material with fresh characters, brought forth by fresh directors and take is as it is, not compare every minute thing in it to something else.
It's okay to incorporate others style as long as it's effective and entertaining.
